Bywong Town is a heritage site set in natural eucalyptus bushland. Tours are fully guided, and cover the characters, stories of the 1890's village and the harsh conditions faced by the miners. A very different experience from the more formal tours of Canberra, and popular with schools as part of year 5 and 6 Australian history and gold studies. Open for school excursions, birthday parties and group tours of 10 or more. Bookings essential.
